Am 18.12.2006 wurde in der Asta Sondersitzung “Boykott” folgendes beschlossen:

Es wird dieses Semester (SS07) nun doch keinen Boykott der Studiengebühren geben, da es einfach schon viel zu spät ist, dass Ganze noch vernünftig zu organisieren. Deshalb wurde wir beschlossen, erst zum WS 07/08 zu boykottieren, dafür aber nun eine vernünftige Informationspolitik zu fahren, um möglichst viele Studenten zu erreichen und für das Vorhaben zu gewinnen.
Die Hochschulgruppe „Die Grünen“ hat die Vorbereitung eines Boykotts schon ziemlich weit gebracht, also sich um die rechtliche Lage, die Bedingungen für ein Treuhandkonto, die Finanzierung usw. gekümmert. Leider haben sie ihr Vorhaben mangels „Personal“ und Zeitdruck auf nächstes Semester verschoben. Nun wird sich der Asta mit ihnen, den Fachschaften, interessierten Studenten und wahrscheinlich der TU zusammen tun, um einen Boykott auf die Beine zu stellen. Für das Gelingen müssten 25% der Studierenden, also ca. 12.000 Studenten der LMU, das Geld auf das Treuhandkonto der Asta überweisen. Um diese Masse an Menschen zu mobilisieren, sind Infoveranstaltungen, eine „Boykott“-Party und das Verteilen von Flyern geplant. Auch soll es eine bessere Vernetzung mit den anderen bayerischen Hochschulen geben, die ebenfalls Boykottaktionen planen. Deshalb bittet der Asta um weitere Mithilfe jeglicher Art. Wer Lust und Interesse hat, kommt einfach am Montag nach den Ferien (8.1.2007) um 17.30 zum Asta in der Leopoldstr. 15 oder meldet sich bei Jonas Bokelmann email: jonasb[at]stuve.uni-muenchen.de

diesen Montag um halb 6 findet in der Leopoldstr. 15 (unten rechts) ein Treffen statt für alle Interessierten, die beim Thema Studiengebühren noch nicht ganz aufgeben haben, oder sich zumindest nicht kampflos ergeben möchten.

Geplant ist ein Boykott, der an anderen Universiäten, die die Gebühren schon eingeführt haben, schon einiges erreicht hat.

NEIN, es ist nicht zu spät für sowas, denn wir könnten doch die Studiengebühren auch im übernächsten Semester noch boykottieren :-)

Es wäre schön wenn ihr das noch etwas weitererzählt. In der Teeküche liegen auch Flyer für das Treffen, sobald ich ihn noch in digitaler Form bekomme, wird er auf hier gepostet.

Am Dienstag, den 19. Dezember um 19:30 Uhr wird im Kino Breitwand Herrsching ein Dokumentarfilm über Natur und Tradition in Kirgisistan und über die Bedrohung des ökologischen Gleichgewichts durch den Goldbergbau gezeigt.

Kurze inhaltliche Beschreibung:

Preisgekrönter Film von Frank Müller über Kirgisistan, das Land an der alten Seidenstraße im Herzen von Zentralasien. Der Film vermittelt die beispiellosen Naturschönheiten des Landes und dokumentiert sensibel die Lebensweise der Nomaden, ihren Tagesablauf, ihre Feste und ihren Umgang mit der Natur. In Kirgisistan wird jedoch das größte Goldvorkommen der Erde vermutet. Die Ausbeutung der Goldmine Kumtor durch ein kanadisches Großunternehmen bringt das ökologische Gleichgewicht der kirgisischen Landschaft in höchste Gefahr: Berge und Gletscher werden durch Sprengungen zerstört, Luft, Boden und Gewässer werden großräumig durch Chemikalien und radioaktives Gestein vergiftet. Der Film arbeitet mit starken Kontrasten und vermittelt durch die Gegenüberstellung von Nomaden-Brauchtum und Hightech ein Bewusstsein für Natur und Tradition. Der weltberühmte kirgisische Dichter Tschingis Aitmatov hat eigens für den Film ein Gedicht geschrieben.
